Campus Maps for Android

Google Maps are great. But when you are on campus, they don't always give enough detail. Many universities and companies provide campus maps with lots of details: where to find student parking?, where is the Chemistry building?, where are the tennis courts?

Campus Maps plots your location on your campus map, and tracks you as you move. Plus it includes a compass overlay so you know which way is North. Never be lost on campus again!

Campus Maps retrieves your campus map from your University or Corporate web site. It currently does not support PDF or Flash-based maps. Image maps such as jpg, png, gif, and bmp are supported.

Campus Maps lets you save links to your favorite five campus maps. Additional maps can be added through the menu. The list of supported maps is constantly growing. If you don't see yours, click here to request it.

Campus Maps works best when your GPS is on, but it can also use wifi to determine where you are on campus. Campus Maps also requires internet access to retrieve your campus map.

Campus Maps includes a virtual mode that lets you explore campus even when you are not there. As you move in your current location, your movements are reflected on your campus map. When you are on campus, turn virtual mode off and see your actual location on campus.

Campus Maps-Trial is provided free of charge through the Android Market. It allows you to see five default campus maps. Campus Maps-Trial only operates in virtual mode, and won't let you access additional maps.

Campus Maps-Full provides all the features.
